Lauren was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at the end of July and she will be having a double mastectomy on August 12th. We are waiting on a few tests to determined her next steps in treatment.

Lauren’s boss has been extremely understanding and helpful but we know that she will need to find ways to supplement her disability income while in recovery and in the next few months.
Having medical insurance has been a huge blessing but does not always mean everything is covered at 100%.
Deductibles and copays add up and some of the treatments she needs are not covered procedures.

Many of you have asked how you can help in practical and tangible ways- A meal schedule is being set up as well as a visiting schedule.
