Medical Expenses for Lauren Rice

My name is Jared Rice, and my wife Lauren has been hospitalized for over 4 weeks for an unknown infection that had developed Sepsis. In turn, this has infected her liver, and lungs. Due to the ongoing infection, she has developed severe Pneumonia and has been in the ICU at Advent Health in Orlando for a week of this time. On Nov. 10th, her oxygen levels had dropped to critical lows and caused her to go into cardiac arrest for about a minute. She is the stay-at-home mother of our 3 children Lane (9), Jinsen (8) and Audrey (5). Her primary interests have always been taking the best care of our children and making sure they stay active and involved in school, and extracurricular activities like baseball and soccer. She has started making a turn for the better but is still intubated and sedated to aid in her recovery. The doctors anticipate her need for inpatient physical therapy to recover mobility from being bed ridden during this time.

This request for help is for the medical expenses which are piling up and needed childcare during Lauren’s recovery.
