Lauren Renee Cole Scholarship

Donation protected

Lauren Renee Cole, 26 years old, fought her last fight on July, 9, 2020.

Everyone that knew Lauren, knew that there’s never been anyone quite like her. She could light up any room, never fail to make anyone laugh and always made sure to make her presence known.  Lauren was such a beautiful soul who loved everyone and always found the good in every single person she met.  She never hesitated to be someone’s shoulder to cry on, no matter how badly she was fighting her own demons.

And oh! let’s not forget, how much she loved her best pal, her golden, Brodie Lee.

For most of you that do or don’t know, Lauren has suffered from addiction and mental illness for several years. She has fought so many battles of her own, trying to pull herself out of the darkness. She worked as a social worker for years, trying to help children have a better life and recently worked at Valley Health, trying to mentor others who suffer from addiction and mental illness as well. Lauren ALWAYS wanted to help every one else.

Lauren’s family has asked me to put together a Gofund me in honor of Lauren. The money raised will be put into a scholarship fund for anyone suffering with addiction/mental illness or anyone who has recovered and is in need of a little help. Lauren would want this money to be for someone else who needed a helping hand to see the light again. If you would like to donate to the Lauren Renee Cole Scholarship of Addiction and Recovery, please do so.  Any amount is perfect. Please, let’s try to keep Lauren’s legacy and free spirit alive and help to save someone else from this horrible illness.

Thank you all from the Cole Family, and from me. Lauren will never be forgotten. She was and still is so so loved.
