Last weekend, I lost one of my cats to feline leukemia. I didn’t know he had it, and he unfortunately had a progressive infection. So far, my other cats, including his mom, are negative, but testing them for it has also cost me. I have had his mom and his two other siblings since they were just less than a week old. They were dumped, and I saved them and ended up adopting mama cat (Ava) and her kittens (Aslan, Aurora, and Aspen). They have been nothing but a joy to our family, but having this many pets is not free. I have two dogs (one lives with my mom, but I am still financially responsible for him), four cats, a bird, and lots of fish! I know pets are expensive, but I never would have expected so many emergencies all together.

May of last year, my dog had to have an exploratory surgery; then just last month, my other dog had unexplained bloody diarrhea on and off, and we still haven’t found the cause, but he’s doing better now. Then my older cat got a URI, and now Aslan just had to be put to sleep after running a few tests ($500). Altogether, I have accumulated over $2,000 in medical bills for my animals. I don’t expect people to help, but anything would be much appreciated! I have since got pet insurance on all my other animals except for my bird and fish. But I need all the help I can get to pay off these medical bills. I basically run a zoo here, and I am drowning in debt
