My name is Daniel, and I am raising funds in support of Break Free Support, a local charity that helps individuals battling ketamine addiction and other substance misuse.

Sadly, we recently lost my sister Lauren due to her addiction. She passed away on 09/02/2026 at 25 Years old

Lauren’s funeral will take place on:

11/03/2026

• 12:30pm at St Paul’s Church Widnes

• Followed by 1:30pm at Widnes Crematorium

Family and friends tried throughout Lauren’s journey to support her and guide her towards help, but sadly she was unable to engage fully with the support needed to overcome her addiction.

We have chosen to support Break Free Support because they are local to us and focus on helping people in situations similar to Lauren’s. Their mission is to provide guidance and recovery tools to individuals struggling with addiction, led by a team who have personally overcome addiction themselves. Their goal is to empower people to recognise addictive thoughts, improve mental health, and build lasting recovery within a safe and supportive community. As Lauren will be having a cremation rather than a burial, we kindly ask that instead of flowers, donations be made to support this charity and the important work they do.

If you would still like to bring flowers, we ask that these be artificial flowers, which we will later transfer to Lauren’s headstone once it is completed. A vehicle will be available at the various locations to collect these for those who prefer to donate flowers.
