Hi, my name is Dan Posey and I am fundraising for friends that I consider my family! I have received their permission and hope you can find it in your hearts to pray and ask the Lord to help them through this extreme time of grief that no parents should ever endure. Their sweet angel went to be with the lord this past Sunday and the family has been asked about donations so we decided to start a Go Fund Me. Below is from the parents, Harry and Sandy:

Lauren brought so much light to everyone she encountered. Her strong vocals filled Sunday mornings regardless if she was on stage or sitting in the crowd. Her voice carried and was as beautiful as she was! Her infectious smile lit up the darkest room. She loved Jesus with her whole heart and was a true servant, friend, daughter, bride-to-be, teacher and so much more to so many. Lauren will be deeply, deeply missed but we know she is dancing and singing with the King of Kings and with that we will grieve but we will also rejoice for she is free!

Lauren chose to live and work in an area near Chicago. Lauren’s mission was to teach children in this area, which she did with her whole heart. Lauren provided love and discipline in a way that inspired her students to discover the greatness within themselves. Lauren hoped to set the children free from their sometimes-difficult environment, through Art, and propel them forward in their lives knowing love can be found everywhere.

As her parents, we have received numerous requests for donations to honor her memory. In staying true to Lauren’s fondest desire, we are setting up a go fund to increase funding for her students in Zion school district 6 for the art program. Art programs need funding for supplies to carry on her legacy.
