Hospice Support for Lauren Haye
Donation protected
In September 2020, during the global health crisis, Lauren’s life was forever changed. She learned she had colon cancer when she went to the emergency room for abdominal pain turning her world upside down. For a woman who works out regularly and is very active, this was a devastating blow. Preparing for the fight of her life with the support of her family and friends, she underwent surgery and chemotherapy. After a short time of being cancer-free, she learned it had returned more aggressive than ever. Sadly, she has been informed by her medical team she is out of treatment options. Her hopes for a fair fight have ended.
Lauren is currently on hospice care, attempting to preserve her strength with hopes of maintaining the highest quality of lifeuntil she transitions. She is a wife and mother of two young boys ages 16 and 11 and a 23-year-old daughter. Lauren has touched many lives as a labor and delivery nurse, certified women’s health nurse practitioner, and community advocate as a member of Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority, Incorporated. Now, the nurse requires the same high-quality level of nursing care she has provided to so many over the years.
We are reaching out to her host of family, friends, and others that wish to give back to a nurse in need. Any support that you can provide will be appreciated immensely. Please keep her family and her in prayer.
