Please help support Lauren during her end of life care.

 

For those who don’t know, Lauren has been on an uphill battle throughout her cancer journey. Diagnosed in October 2024 with stage 3 cervical cancer, she underwent surgery, rigorous rounds of chemotherapy, and both internal and external radiation (yes, it was as bad as it sounds) and even after all that, we were devastated to learn that the cancer had spread to her chest, both lungs, liver and gall bladder. The cancer was deemed “treatable” but not curable. Again, Lauren continued to endure incredibly intensive chemotherapy and immunotherapy, experiencing several additional medical setbacks. Historically, Lauren has battled addiction for many years. When she seemed to have finally conquered that demon, she was given the unimaginable cancer diagnosis. 

We are at the point where we are out of options, and we are giving Lauren peace, comfort, and love in her remaining time with us. Please consider donating to provide support to Lauren to give her some comfort, to help provide funds for a funeral, and any remaining funds will be set aside for her daughter Alayna and son Joseph. It is always so hard to ask for help but we are in need. Truthfully, we were not prepared to have to do this so soon and her expenses for the past year have been completely unexpected.  Our social services system has been very challenging, providing minimal support, and we are stretched thin financially.
