Chronic illness is so hard! Lauren has been dealing with it for 10 years, but the last year has been the hardest of her life. She is back in the hospital again. This time she is in UTSW, so maybe the teaching hospital can come up with better answers.

I am her mom. I have quit working to be able to take care of her growing need for assistance. Our savings are gone after my own recent cancer battle (I am free and clear! Thank God!). We need help with travel expenses to be with her in the hospital, as well as for things not covered by insurance. We also need help with bills since I am not working. I am not good at this, but we need help since we will have a long road ahead.
