My name is Rose Opal and I am starting this campaign for my dear friend of many years, Laurel Gluek Buley.

Laurel is currently undergoing aggressive antibiotic treatment for a powerful complex acute infection alongside very debilitating Lyme’s disease related chronic illness. She was recently released from a five day hospital stay and is needing additional support from outside her usual team of family members who have been caring for her long term.

Let’s raise funds to support a friend coming into town for two weeks to provide care and quiet company for Laurel while she heals. Hopefully with funds raised we can provide for the caregiver’s travel funds, daily expenses and compensation for their time. Any additional funds will be used for meals delivered and additional medical treatments.

Laurel truly is such a loving and caring person, amazing herbalist, farmer and mother. Let’s show her some love in this critical time.
