Laurel needs a wheelchair

My name is Laurel Jones, probably best known as the small pirate in the opening "Dream of the '90's" sequence in Portlandia. (Striped shirt, front left.)
As an aging dwarf, my back is going bad on me. I have become increasingly reliant on walking sticks and a weightlifting belt to brace up my back. I have trouble walking more than 3-4 blocks at a time, and even that is painful. As a result, I have gone from being socially active to being a near-reclusive shut-in, communicating with my world mostly through my computer. The GRIT wheelchair with modifications I require for my size would enable me to get out and about. The levers are a much easier means of propelling the chair than pushing on the large rear wheels, while the manual propulsion enables me to be independent of electrical chargers and/or gasoline. I believe this chair is the best option for me to get out and about again.
