My name is Randi Myers, and I am here to support Laura (aka Laura Bean) in her medical and recovery expenses.For those of you who don't know Laura, she has devoted her life to helping those less fortunate, working with foster children, special needs adoptions, chemical dependency, chronically mentally ill, and for the past 10 years working with injured and ill Veterans returning from the wars in Iraq, Afganistan and other places around the world. She is also a mother, devoted daughter and partner, who has sacrified repeatedly for her family and friends. This included caring for her father when he was dying from terminal cancer.
Laura will be having two consecutive surgeries with full recovery time being a year minimum. She is waiting to on her Federal Employer to approve early retirement due to her illness, however there process takes 6-12 months in which she has no income.
Her first surgery is scheduled in early January 2016, so funds are needed as soon as possible to allow her to focus on her recovery.
Laura has helped and supported me through my own illness, and never asked for anything in return. It is so important that I be able to help her in some way and I am counting on the generosity of God's people to help a true angel on earth.
Funds will be used for medical and living expenses during her recovery time.
