Help Laura get to Drama School!

Hi there everyone! Earlier this year I was over the moon to discover that I had been offered a place at drama school, so with a bit of luck I will be starting my professional training at the London School of Musical Theatre in January 2021! London drama schools can be exceptionally difficult to get into, so gaining a place is something to be seriously proud of and I still can't quite believe I've managed it!
However, as I'm sure some of you are aware, the cost of attending drama school can be very expensive, especially as LSMT is a private school - meaning I cannot apply for Student Finance for this particular course, which now totals at £15,000. There are various grants and support mechanisms available from the school itself, but I thought that this page could be a good way of receiving some extra funding as well as aiding with my London living costs too - again, there is no Student Finance option. Initially, I was thinking of organising a live music fundraiser events, but unfortunately due to the Coronavirus this particular idea quickly became an unlikely scenario.
