*This gofund me was organized by friends of Laura to help her, NOT Laura herself.  It says organized by Laura but that is due to our confusion on how to set up the page. :) *

Due to unexpected surgery complications, Laura is in need of our help.  Unfortunately, she will have to miss several weeks at the start of the school year and possibly days throughout, as she continues to see doctors.  Laura is a single mom raising two beautiful daughters and has been a part of this community all of her life.  She was born and raised in Saginaw and still teaches at Wayside today.
      Teachers are given a limited amount of paid sick days each year.  Due to the severity of her complications, she will have used all of her days. Laura will need to supplement her income in some way. 
     Laura has given so much to her students and this community throughout her career. Now is our time to give back to her!
