Laura's Foster Kittens-We Need Incubators!
Donation protected
It's 'kitten season' which means orphan kittens will be found and I'll begin another year of tireless fostering. My specialty focus is in neonatal kittens (days old to 3 weeks) and the super sick, at-risk kittens.
Both of these groups of babies need a constant heat source because they are unable to regulate their own body temperature. So far I've been relying on microwavable heat disks which are terrific for travel but do not provide a constant stable environment of warmth, nor do they provide humidity.
The incubators I hope to invest in are self contained units with temperature & humidity settings. In fostering over 80 kittens I know how important this technology can be. These will SAVE LIVES.
Many of you know Gusto (pictured). He was touch & go for a while but pulled through and thrived. Having an incubator would've helped him stabilize faster. An incubator also could've helped to save BeBop and Lumen, my 2 neonates who died.
Will you please consider donating so these orphans will have the best chance possible? They will pay forward your gift in purrs, biscuit-making, and head bumps to their future forever homes :)
