Laura's Dental Crown

On January 1st, my state, low income insurance started to cover more dental care. So I made appointment after appointment to get everything taken care of. 
After my initial exam and x-rays they determined I needed a few cavities filled and 1 root canal. 
I got the cavities filled and made the appointment for the root canal. 
It was a painful and scary experience but I got through it. When I asked how soon I should come in for the crown, I was informed my insurance wouldn't cover it. They have some rule that more than 3/4s of the tooth has to be gone before they will cover a crown or so I was told. 
That was on the 6th of February.
I got a full quote from the dentist today that a crown would cost approximately $1400
I need to raise this as soon as possible because I was told I have to "baby" the tooth until I get it. I have been eating on the other side and not eating anything crunchy or hard. Even brushing is scary and painful if I hit it wrong. 
Sales from my art will be going towards this goal but I could really use your help! On top of my bills and saving up for expenses later this year it's a tough number to meet.
