Laura's Celebration of Life
Donation protected
Laura Michelle Bollinger-Fisher, started her life in heaven too soon on 6/17/2018 at the age of 53.
Laura was born on 1/12/1965 to Grover and Ruth Bollinger in Watsonville, CA. Laura grew up showing horses and winning many ribbons with her sisters. She graduated from North Monterey County High class of 1983 Castroville, CA. then attended Central California Commercial College. Laura called Prunedale her hometown. Laura then married her best friend and love of her life Gil Fisher on 2/16/1985. Gil and Laura would make their home in Salinas, CA where they had their three children Travis, Cotdy and Courtney whom she loved, protected, supported and cherished with everything in her. Her love for adventure led her to Amador County in 1997, where she continued to raise her children to adulthood. Laura had recently resigned her position with Cost Less food Company after 13 years of total dedication giving 200% of her time, devotion, talents going way above and beyond what was expected of her. Laura gave her all to the management and the employees. She was the kind of co-worker you wished for. She had an ear to listen, a heart of compassion and excuse for you as to why it wasn’t your fault if you screwed up. She saw only the best in everyone and always willing to help and fix anything. She saw the underdog as an opportunity, one step from being their best. Laura’s beautiful spirit is preceded in death by her father Grover Bollinger. Laura is survived by her devoted husband and best friend of 33 years Gilbert Fisher, her children Travis (Kaeli) Fisher, Cotdy Fisher, Courtney Fisher and Fiancée Joshua Long, her sisters, Marietta Bollinger Dennis,Malinda Bollinger Chambers, Melissa Bollinger Dordon, and her brother Pete Bollinger, her precious grandchildren Peyton and Maverick Fisher whom she adored, and too many to mention Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and cousins.
We would like to do a celebration of life for my Mom in volcano and would like to be able to accommodate everyone. So we are reaching out for a helping hand , if you can donate ANY thing would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Courtney if you have any further questions or comments. Thank you for your time.
