Laura Newitt charity Skydive

Hi, everyone. My name is Laura Newitt. I'm planning to do a skydive to raise funds for Mountbatten Hospice IOW. Mountbatten Hospice is incredible and has supported me and others through so much, that I want to give a little back.

I'm 32 years old and have a rare condition called Friedreich's ataxia, which affects only about 10,000 people in the UK. I've created a bucket list to complete while supporting the charities that have helped me immensely. Despite being wheelchair-bound and having limited control over my arms and legs, I won't let this stop me from living life to the fullest.

Now for the exciting part: I'm going to do a 10,000-foot skydive to see my home, the Isle of Wight, from a perspective I've only imagined. I have a fantastic support system, including my wonderful family and Milforddel Support Agency Ltd., who encourage and support me in pursuing my dreams.
