Laura Morris Cancer Benefit

Laura Morris, a resident of Wausau, WI., who is an amazing mother of two young children, Norah and Nolan, a loving wife to Jared Morris, a sister, a daughter, a co-worker and a friend to all, has been put into the position of hearing the words you or your loved ones never want to hear. On Tuesday, April 5, 2022, Laura was told: "You have cancer." At the young age of 33, Laura is fighting for her life. She is fighting against breast cancer.

Treatment has begun, and this will be a very long and grueling journey. She is currently undergoing Chemotherapy. When her oncologist feels it is time, she will have surgery to remove the remaining cancer, followed by radiation. Laura is fighting alongside her family, friends and community to beat this.

A benefit is also being held at Patron Mexican Restaurant on Sunday, September 11th, 2022. The event will begin at 11 am and run until 3 pm. There will be many different events at the benefit to raise additional money for the family. 100% of the funds raised will go to the Morris family to assist with medical expenses and the additional costs that cancer has imposed on the family.
