Many of you who know and love Laura Lee have followed her battle with cancer since she was diagnosed in May 2017. Last week, Laura and her family went on a trip to Disney in Orlando. Last Saturday, Laura was taken to the hospital for labored breathing, where she was diagnosed with pneumonia, a blood clot in one of her lungs and reoccurring fluid buildup in her lungs from the cancer. On Wednesday she was transferred to the ICU. They were all supposed to leave to return home on Thursday, but that plan changed. They will now be in Orlando for a minimum of another week, possibly longer. With the unexpected stay comes unexpected expenses for hotel, food, and living expenses. Those who know Laura well, know how important her family is to her and have seen the strength she has drawn from them throughout her battle with cancer.
