Laura Lake and her fight with aggressive, rare cancer

Hi, my name is Dorothy (Lake) White, I am Laura’s Aunty…she is always the one to lend a hand, help fundraiser or literally give you the shirt off her back if you needed it..but now she needs help…she will be receiving some intense chemo…I would like to help take the financial burden of travelling to the hospital, parking, cost of extra meds etc. off her mind so she can focus on recouping from chemo and fight this cancer with all her might❤️❤️ even if you can’t contribute please send her all the prayers you can as she’s going to need every one of them❤️❤️ Thank you

Heres her story:

I was diagnosed with Leiomysarcoma which is a rare cancer that is aggressive and grows in smooth muscles, like those found in your stomach, intestines and blood vessels…it affects 6 in 1 million people and rare in people my age. Surgery is the only real option to successfully have a better survival rate. It is on my Venacava ( the main blood vessel that supplies your body with blood) and it is also on my small intestine. Due to it being where it is I am not a candidate for surgery leaving me only 2 options: to keep me comfortable until it’s my time or try 2 types of intense chemo at same time in hopes it will shrink enough to try surgery…chances of it shrinking are 30-50% and if God be willing and this works I will have a 50/50 chance of survival during and after surgery hoping they can get it all. My choice is to fight with all I have and do everything possible within my power to get through this❤️
