Laura Gap - Fundraiser.

Hello everyone,

While this is a sad greeting, it’s also filled with hope. Hope that we can find people with big hearts, and hope that this story will have a happy ending.

Piotr, Paulina, Oskar, and Laura. You could say they're a family just like any other. During the week, the parents work, and the children go to school. They spend their free time together, supporting each other in their passions. Oskar is 9 years old and loves football, playing in a local club. Laura is 7 years old, and she loves swimming and practicing karate. Day by day, life goes on, when suddenly, without warning, tragedy strikes!

Laura starts feeling unwell. She complains of stomach pain and is losing weight. From one doctor's visit to the next, the parents receive a diagnosis: pancreatic cancer with liver metastases. The shock, pain, fear, and disbelief they must have felt is indescribable. Their daughter faces the toughest battle of her life. A battle against a treacherous and unpredictable disease. No parent should have to watch their child go through this, no mother should have to collect her child's hair from the pillow. For them, the world has stopped. All the clocks have stopped ticking. They need our help. Let's try, even in a small way, to help them so that during this difficult time, they can focus on supporting their daughter in her fight against the disease.

Laura has already started treatment and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Paula and Piotr have to take their little one for treatment, all the way to Cambridge. To avoid turning their healthy son's life upside down, Paula and Piotr have been forced to suspend their professional duties. As we all know, their income will soon be reduced to a minimum due to the time they spend away from work. In their situation, worrying about whether they will be able to pay their current bills or whether there will be enough for fuel in a given month should be at the bottom of their list of problems.

Therefore, we ask everyone who knows Piotr and Paulina to support our fundraiser. Let's help them at least in this area so that they can stand together with their beloved daughter and fight alongside her. We thank you all, each and every one of you, for your help.

Choć to smutne powitanie jest zarazem przepełnione nadzieją. Nadzieją na to, że znajdą się ludzie o wielkich sercach, a także na to że ta historia dobrze się skończy.

Piotrek, Paulina, Oskar i Laura. Można by powiedzieć że rodzina jak każda inna. W tygodniu rodzice pracują, a dzieci uczęszczają do szkoły. Wolne chwile spędzają razem wspierając się nawzajem w swoich pasjach. Oskar ma 9 lat - uwielbia piłkę nożną i gra w lokalnym klubie. Laura ma 7 lat - kocha pływanie oraz trenuje karate. Dzień za dniem płynie życie kiedy nagle - bez ostrzeżenia zdaża się tragedia!

Laura źle się czuje. Uskarża się na ból brzucha, traci na wadze. Od wizyty do wizyty - rodzice dostają diagnozę: rak trzustki z przerzutami do wątroby. Szok, ból, strach i niedowierzanie jakie musieli czuć jest nie do opisania. Przed ich córką najcięższa walka w życiu. Walka z podstępną i nieprzewidywalną chorobą. Nikt nie powinien oglądać swojego dziecka w takim stanie, żadna matka nie powinna zbierać włosów z poduszki swojego dziecka. Dla nich świat się zatrzymał. Wszystkie zegary przestały bić. Oni potrzebują naszej pomocy. Postarajmy się choć w małym stopniu pomóc im, by w tym trudnym dla nich czasie mogli skupić się na wspieraniu córki w walce z chorobą. Laura rozpoczeła już leczenie i obecnie poddawana jest chomioterapi. Paula i Piotrek muszą wozić małą na każdy cykl, aż do Cambridge. Aby też nie wywracać do góry nogami życia ich zdrowego syna Paula i Piotrek zmuszeni zostali do zawieszenia swoich obowiązków zawodowych. Jak wszyscy dobrze wiemy ich świadczenia niebawem ze względu na czas poza pracą zostaną ograniczone do minimum. W ich sytuacji zamartwianie się o to czy będą mieli z czego zapłacić bieżące rachunki lub czy w danym miesiącu wystarczy na paliwo , powinno być na końcu listy problemów.

Dlatego prosimy każdego kto zna Piotrka i Paulinę by wsparł naszą zbiórkę. Pomóżmy im chociaż na tym polu by oni wspólnie mogli stanąć ramię w ramię ze swoją ukochaną córką i walczyć razem z nią. Dziękujemy Wam Wszystkim i każdemu z osobna za okazaną pomoc.
