Laura fight Cervical Cancer

QUICK UPDATE 09/08/2023:

Laura received her PET SCAN results and the cancer has moved into her pelvic lymph nodes. She has been diagnosed advanced stage 3 and now surgery/hysterectomy is more than likely going to happen in the beginning of 2024. She is also starting Chemo and Radiation this Monday, which will last about 6 weeks. Her insurance has a very high deductible and they are already asking for it. If you could please help in any way, I know it would be a great help to her and her kiddos. Lastly, Laura, Joe, her family and I just wanted to take a minute to sincerely thank every single person who has supported her on her journey so far. Whether that be monetarily or just being there for her whenever she needs a shoulder to lean on, it means the world to her. From the bottoms of all of our hearts, a big thank you.

Hi, I am making this go fund me for my best friend, Laura. Laura is single-handedly one of the kindest and sweetest people I have ever met. She will bend over backwards to help anyone in need. She is a single parent who works full-time and has three children. Her two twins are almost 17 and her youngest son is only 10. She went to the hospital last week for pelvic pain and severe blood loss and she was hospitalized for a week and has since been diagnosed with Cervical Cancer after having three blood transfusions and surgery. The doctors are still in the findings stage, so I can update this later, but right now it is believed to be either very late Stage Two Cervical Cancer or Stage Three due to the fact that it has spread. They have a few more tests scheduled for the upcoming few weeks and I will update once I have more information. She has already had both radiation and chemotherapy scheduled. She has to go for radiation every day for five weeks straight and chemo once a week. She has many obstacles ahead of her: doctors appointments, radiation, chemo, and she will also need surgery once the tumor has shrunk enough that it is operable. She does have some health insurance, but the plan has a high deductible of $3,000 and being a single parent, her funds are limited with three teenagers. If you can please donate even just a few dollars to help Laura and her kids out, it would really mean a lot. There are so many things that she needs that she just doesn't have the funds for, like a wig, new dietary needs while going through treatment, house bills, electric bill, gas to help get her to her daily appointments and much, much more. Every little bit will help and it will mean so much to Laura so that she can use what precious energy she has left to rest when she can and spend time with her family.
