Chris and Laura have been two of my closest friends for 30 years, so when I heard this news I had to act. 

Here’s the DuPré’s urgent need.

Laura has been bravely battling a very painful infection for over a year that has ravaged her skin and has so far been impossible to stop. She has sought out much prayer, and medical professionals of every kind, but with little results. Sores continue to fester, some hanging on for months at a time. It is a constant challenge and brings her great, daily torment.

So far there has been no understanding as to why this infection continues. Those that know her know that she is a “wellness master” whose lifestyle is impeccable and her diet is flawless, which makes this even more of a mystery. But as a graduate of The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Laura recently found out that she is eligible for a substantial discount at the clinic she feels would bring her the most benefit, the Ultra Wellness Center. There, physicians will work closely alongside other health professionals until there is a breakthrough for her. 

This is far from inexpensive, however. The appointments and lab tests alone are high, and any extras are just that, extra.

Also, due to Covid-19 Chris has had all his ministry engagements cancelled and so he's had no income for a couple of months and few ahead. This problem has been draining them of their now limited resources.

When I asked what the cost would be Chris said in the $5,000-$7,000 range. It could be that or it could be much more.

The day I found out about their need last week I had just begun to create a crowd funding campaign for a project for my own ministry. So I felt the timing was the Lord, and asked Chris' permission to create this  GoFundMe page for Laura so people can give - and 100% of all funds will go directly to the DuPrés. 

Most everyone who received my initial email has given $100 or more,  which got us to our base goal of $5,000 in the first 24 hours! Praise God!! Now we want to go far beyond that to be sure all expenses are covered abundantly so there is no financial strain on these two wonderful people. But of course some of you may need to do less and some may wish to do much more.

I'm so thankful to all of you who have given - it has allowed us to get these funds to Chris & Laura immediately so she can quickly start on her recovery.

However we want this to go viral so would you please consider sending the link to Laura’s GoFundMe page to everyone you think might contribute? And also put it on any social media you think may be viable? Perhaps those of you with churches or large mailing lists who know Chris & Laura would consider sharing this opportunity with your constituents? That would be so great!
