Our sweet, wonderful friend, Laura, injured herself on a rock-climbing adventure. She did a pretty dang good job of it, and she's going to need surgery. Unfortunately, insurance is not going to be covering everything she needs. As we all know, healthcare in the U.S. is EXPENSIVE.
If you would consider helping this beautiful human out, here is what the finances will be going to:
- Medical bills (e.g. ambulance ride, hospital stay, x-rays, surgery, medication, medical devices, etc.)
- Follow-up care (e.g. physical therapy, etc.)
- Paying bills (e.g. housing, food, etc.) during any time needed off work for care and recovery - Laura doesn't work a job where she will get paid during her time away from work; it will be all out of pocket for her.
Laura is a passionate individual who gives a lot to her local community, in the form of friendship and philanthropy. She is very active in the vegan community, and spends a good deal of time working to improve the lives of everyone around her.
