Firstly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read this.

My mom, who is everything to me and my sister, Samantha, has always been the heart and soul of our family. As a single mother, she sacrificed her whole life to raise us, build a business, and take care of everyone around her.

She’s only ever put others first, always refused asking for help — but right now, she needs us.

Mom recently suffered a massive stroke and brain bleed while hosting a party for a friend visiting from out of town. She’d been preparing for the get together, excited to see her friend, when she suddenly began showing signs of a stroke. It was only thanks to the quick thinking of her amazing friends — Lynette, Peggy, and Roxanne — that she got the emergency care she needed in time. Their swift actions saved her life, and I am beyond grateful that my mom has such incredible friends who acted so quickly.

I could never repay you for giving us the gift of life back to our mother. A thank you isn’t even remotely close to enough.

Right now, Mom is in the early stages of recovery, facing a tremendously long road ahead. She’s always been the one to take care of everyone else, but now it’s our turn to support her. The funds raised will go toward medical bills, recovery costs, housing, and anything else she needs to focus on healing and getting back on her feet.
