I’m raising funds for a business idea my friend and I are working hard to build. We’re just out of high school, and we’re trying to turn our app into something official and professionally recognized, but getting started has been much harder than we imagined.

We work as many hours as we can, but rent and other bills make it almost impossible to put money toward this dream. We’ve already put so much time, effort, and what money we can into trying to move this forward. The hardest part is feeling like all of that could fall short simply because we don’t have the visibility or resources to take the next steps.

The funds from this fundraiser will help pay for advertising and for reaching out to people who can help make our app official and recognized professionally. That support would give us a real chance to get our idea in front of the right people instead of watching it stall because we can’t afford to keep pushing it forward on our own.

There’s also some urgency for us because we’re worried the idea could be used elsewhere if we can’t act soon. I’m carrying the stress of trying to protect something we believe in while balancing work, rent, and bills, and it’s been hard not knowing if lack of visibility will cause this to fail before it really has a chance.
