We're raising funds to develop our product, MOVA. MOVA is a multi-use insulated bag that helps the unhoused and homeless community by keeping food items hot or cold, as well as providing a pillow for a safe space to sleep.
Our team is made up of visually impaired students who won a competition called Make48 , and now we are in infant stages of starting a limited liability company and need donations to move forward.
Right now, the biggest focus is getting the company officially formed. We have secured pro-bono legal assistance and funding will help us file the important documents we need to make the LLV possible. We also need support for production costs once we find out what the actual price to fabricate is going to be.
This experience has changed our lives by pushing us to grow and learn as we figure out the legal side of everything involved with starting an LLC and planning our next steps. We intend to patent and distribute our prototype to food pantries so it can be put into the hands of people who truly need it the most. We need help now so we can continue to grow the company and help the homeless community with our product.
Any donation would help us cover filing costs, support early production needs, and move this company forward. If you are able to give or share this fundraiser, it would mean a lot to us.
