For those who know me, you know I’m passionate about capturing life’s genuine, unscripted moments. My goal isn't just to take a pretty picture; it's to create a fun, memorable experience that results in photos truly reflecting you—full of laughter, personality, and genuine connection. I specialize in the "kandid" and the authentic, making sure your special moments aren't stiff or posed, but beautifully and genuinely preserved. I want to provide sessions that are a fun and memorable event. I want my sessions to be an experience as well as an opportunity to create lasting memories for my clients.

My Vision: The Perfect Small Studio

With your support, I am building a small, dedicated studio space designed specifically for intimate, comfortable, fun, and creative photoshoots—especially for family sessions, holiday photos, birthday milestones and more.

Right now, my biggest obstacle is securing the professional-grade startup equipment needed to guarantee the highest quality results, even in a compact space. My goal for now is to start by creating a professional dedicated room for my studio. Long term, I would absolutely love to move to a stand alone building of its own.

Beyond my passion for photography, I have two wonderful children who look up to me every day. Starting KandidByKatelyn is not just about fulfilling a dream for myself; it’s about building a stable future for them and showing them the value of pursuing your dreams. Every click of the shutter and every successful session will be a step toward providing for them and being an example of hard work and dedication. This studio is built on love, and it’s being launched for them.
