Launching a Life of Co-loveration

In June, 2017, Stephen and Julia (with a bubbling belly) moved to Stephen's family's farm, Potomac Vegetable Farms, in Loudoun County, northern Virgina. It's one plot of land that supports the family's community-supported organic vegetable business.
They left Berlin, where they were doing community-based art work and finishing their master's degrees in Peace and Conflict Transformation, to try and bring their passions for healing, art and education to the land and build a home together.
In July, 2017, Shaia Rose came on the scene, born at home in the house her parents had just moved into.
Now, on the coming summer solstice, June 21, 2018, we are celebrating a year on the farm, as a family, and the launching of a life together, embedded in our beloved communities, society, and the larger life world.
So, this solstice celebration of love (also known as a wedding) will be a first, living experiment in bringing people together, from different backgrounds, experiences, parts of our lives and parts of the world, in creative collaboration and wild celebration on this land.
BUT, this is only the beginning, this celebration will be the kickoff, rocket launching, first attempt, and lay some of the foundations for future workshops, festivals and gatherings. For instance, we will be buying and building some of the infrastructure for this wedding that can be used to host future events (wedding tent, stages, speakers, plates and cuttlery, floating lake dock, etc.) and we will be learning organizing and hosting practices for the future.
We want you to be a central part of our burgeoning project as a community of visionaries and collaborators. So, come join us in celebration bringing your most magnificent, creative, playful and authentic selves. We want all of you-- all is welcome here.
Your support can take so many different shapes, from your physical presence, to the contribution of your knowledge about an art form, your musical or artistic talents, a type of building, or logistical organizing, and it can look like monetary donations to help lay (and pay) the seeds for this co-loveration, and those to come.
