Help Launch the Knotty Stroker
This year our theme camp Knotty Peckers wants to create a ridiculous new mutant vehicle to the playa: The Knotty Stroker.
It’s a glowing electric canoe art car that will cruise the playa ferrying Burners across the dust. At night it will appear like a floating canoe outlined in red LEDs with a glowing blue undercarriage, impossible to miss in the desert.

About Camp Knotty Peckers
Knotty Peckers is a playful, sex-positive, and inclusive woodland scout–themed camp where participants earn handmade merit badges through interactive activities like:
- S’Mores Social Hour
- Knot-Tying & Rope Skills
- Morning Wood Yoga
- Dirty Girlscout Cocktail Hour
- Axe Throwing
- Canoe Rides
We build spaces where strangers become friends around campfires, laughter, and ridiculous experiences.
What We Need
The Naughty Stroker is being built from a modified canoe mounted to an electric-powered platform with lighting and sound.
We’re raising $1000 to cover:
- electric motor and controller
- battery system
- LED lighting
- mounting hardware
Every dollar goes directly into building the vehicle.
