Over the past several months, I have felt God leading me to start an online Christian radio station. The station would be a mix of Christian rap, hip-hop, dance, pop, and rock. The station would be primarily a listener-supported station with sponsorships from organizations.

The station I'm dreaming of would be a place where people could find access to Christian rap, hip-hop, pop, dance, and rock music. My prayer is that it will be a safe place where people can find belonging, encouragement, and positivity. Sunday mornings will feature the best EDM, Rap, R&B praise and worship, including remixes and reimaginings of well known praise and worship songs. Mini-devotionals will be shared everyday highlighting scripture passages, perhaps even shared by youth pastors across the United States. I'm hoping that this station could something that youth groups could turn on during their events and teens could be introduced to quality, postive music.

This is the first phase of fundraising. To get the station off the ground and be registered as a business will be approximately $3,000. To get set up as a non-profit business will be approximately another $2,500-$3,000. Additional funds will be needed for marketing and music procurement. My hope is that eventually, we will become a listener-supported station through both one-time and monthly givers.

Cost breakdown:

$3500 - Radio station platform, station app, Tune-In placement, music licensing, alexa skill, and automation

$500 - studio equipment

$3000 - Business registration, establishing non-profit status

$1000 - Music purchasing

$2000 - Promotions: website, advertising, giveaways, stickers, shirts
