Launch Breannyn's Career: A Tribute to Jess

HELP ME LAUNCH A TALENTED YOUNG SINGER'S CAREER!! Her name is Breannyn Grace. My name is Rick Kline. I'm a songwriter, screenwriter, and aspiring producer, and the former frontman of Plaid Iguana Project, an early aughts mid-Atlantic rock band who once backed Bo Diddley. My main songwriting partner was Jess Roberts, Bre's mom, who we lost after a heroic battle with cervical cancer 10 years ago at 38, when Bre was just 8.

A lifetime of longing to follow in her mother's musical footsteps brings us to this moment. I have written and developed a screenplay, a work of fiction based on the music of Plaid Iguana, with the attached song "Dream Out Loud" as the title track. The film is now titled "All I Am" after going through extensive development with a former exec at a major studio. Here is the mock-up film trailer that is part of our extensive pitch deck.

In the end of the film, the now 18-year-old character based on Breannyn re-records her mother's seminal track (Dream Out Loud/All I Am), makes a video on TikTok, and it goes viral, leading to the film's finale. We are raising money to record a shortened version of DOL, and to make a video, and see if it can't go viral. The goal is launching Bre's singing career and helping the screenplay "All I Am" get some traction, so that we can one day get the film made, a film dedicated to the memory of Jess Roberts and get her music, our music out to the world.

We already have drummer and founding member of Aquarium Rescue Unit Jeff Sipe attached to play (and are going after other heavy hitters) as well as an award-winning Director of Photography Jessica Hershatter lined up to film the video. The $5K goal is just a jumping-off point. Any money raised beyond the cost of recording the track and making the video will go to promotion of both. All funds will route through my LLC "Value Creation Productions".
