In today's world of e-commerce, it's becoming increasingly difficult to find places that spark joy and allow us to build community. A new fiber arts-focused small business is coming soon to Jamaica Plain, MA with the goal of inspiring artists and making connections.
The shop will be part lesson space, part artist gallery, and part supply store. Exciting features will include:
- Thrifted materials (donations accepted!) and a little free library-style area for patterns, yarn, and fabric scraps
- Rentable space to host knitting circles, project meetups, etc.
- How-to classes on a variety of topics perfect for anyone looking to pick up a new hobby
- Local artist booths that can be rented monthly to sell and share finished pieces
- Materials and notions directly from a local business
