Launceston U16's Rugby Tour to Belgium
Donation protected
Help the U16 Launceston Rugby Team get to Belgium!
Next year, the U16 Launceston Rugby Team is gearing up for an unforgettable tour to Belgium; but first, we’re taking on a challenge of our own!
On 30 August 2025, our squad will be cycling the Camel Trail and back; a total of 22.5 miles — to raise vital funds for our rugby tour. From Bodmin to Padstow and back, we’ll be pushing pedals, building team spirit, and earning every mile toward our goal.
Why Belgium?
This tour is more than just rugby. It’s a chance for our young players to:
• Compete internationally and grow their game
• Experience new cultures and build lifelong friendships
• Represent Launceston with pride and passion
But travel, kit, and accommodation costs add up — and we need your help to make it happen.
How You Can Support Us
Every donation, big or small, gets us closer to Belgium. Whether it’s £5 or £50, you’ll be helping these dedicated young athletes chase their dreams.
We’ll be sharing updates, photos, and maybe even a few sore legs along the way — so you can follow our journey from the Camel Trail to continental competition!
Thank you for supporting grassroots rugby and the future of our team. Let’s make this tour one to remember!

THANK YOU:
Thank you for those of you who have already donated towards our other challenges, so far the boys have:
- Had a cake sale
- Sold bacon baps at a community hall
- Organised a car treasure hunt
- Six of the team cycled an amazing 1320km (the equivalent of Launceston to Ghent AND BACK AGAIN) and one of the team rowing the channel and back on a rowing machine over 24 hours! (Special mention to the Stumble Inn for hosting and looking after our boys).
The lads are determined to raise enough funds, so watch this space for more fundraising in the coming months.
