This is Sabine Choucair, founder of Clown Me In lebanon.
It breaks my heart that Lebanon is, once again, in emergency mode. Since the escalation began on 2 March, Lebanese authorities and the UN report hundreds killed, thousands injured, and over 1 million people displaced across the country. Families are sleeping in overcrowded schools and makeshift shelters, moving with little notice, while the economic collapse keeps basic needs...food, water, electricity, healthcare...out of reach for so many.
And in the middle of all this, kids are carrying the war in their bodies: fear, panic, silence. That’s why we’re fundraising again—to bring clown shows and play-based interventions into shelters, offering moments of regulation, dignity, and relief when life feels unbearable.
Your support helps us cover transport, materials, and urgent field costs so we can reach families where they are, right now.
