Dear friends,
As many of you know, after more than ten years of dreaming of it, I am finally producing my own production of Christopher Durang's "Laughing Wild."
As you know too... Art takes funding. And for independent producers like myself, finding public funding can be very difficult, which is why I'm turning to you - my friends, my colleagues, my supporters - to help me cross the finish line on this decade-long journey.
We've already raised roughly half of our operating budget, but we also need to pay our artists! As an artist who has been asked to work for free time and time again, I do not want to do that to any of the amazing artists on my team.
Anything you can contribute will go a long way towards funding independent art and to supporting local artists, who are all bringing their A-game to this project that I am so very passionate about.
No donation is too small, and certainly not too large either.
Your support would help a dream become reality for me, as I want to bring you the best possible production I possibly can. If you can help me reach this $7,000 goal, I pledge that I will donate 10% of all donations AND box office sales to the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Homeless Youth Program.
