The World Famous Laugh Factory in Hollywood is an entertainment venue known for spectacular live comedy shows, featuring some of the biggest names in entertainment.
The servers, bar, and other staff members are the backbone of the club. Without their work, the comedy shows would be missing a key component. Much of the staff relied heavily on the income made to pay their bills including rent, car payments, health insurance, student loans, etc. Members of the staff also have children and families that rely on this income.
Due to the Coronavirus, The Laugh Factory was shut down, leaving much of the staff without this source of income to pay the bills and support their families. Los Angeles rent alone cannot be covered with unemployment leaving the staff in an uncertain financial situation.
While we understand this is a difficult time for most people around the world, the staff is kindly asking for the consideration of those who can expense donations to help.
The donations will be split evenly between the servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff who relied on tips, totaling around 24 employees.
The staff is wishing everyone good health during these uncharted times and thank you for your kind donation and consideration.
We have extended the fundraiser to include all of our night staff employees including security, cashiers, and hostess who play an integral role in club operations during shows.
