Angel's medical fund

Angel was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) i.e. Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis in 2000. For those who may be unfamiliar, Inflammatory Bowel Disease is a chronic, debilitating condition that causes inflammation in the intestines. The intestinal walls become swollen, inflamed, and develop ulcers, which can cause severe intestinal pain, serious digestive problems, nausea, vomiting, extreme weight loss and fatigue – often resulting in multiple hospital stays and sometimes surgical removal of the intestine(s). No one knows what causes IBD but it is thought to be auto-immune.

Throughout the years, Angel has been in and out of the hospital for her condition, including during her pregnancy with her first son. Most recently, Angel’s health took a turn for the worse. She was hospitalized and went through a battery of tests. Upon her release, Angel was told she needs to see multiple doctors & specialists for treatment. Although employed, Angel does not have health insurance. Angel joined Professional Irrigation Services Inc. (PISI) in 2015 and began working in Heritage Isle. She loves her job and the community, and dedicates her days and weekends to Heritage Isle. Unfortunately, PISI does not offer health insurance to their employees -- and treatment for IBD is very costly, and must be consistent.

Angel is now faced with a $10,000 hospital bill, and without working, also fell behind on her truck payment. She cannot afford to see the doctors she needs to see, nor can she afford her medication. We all know Angel would give us anything at any time, and now she needs our help. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
