In Memoriam Lau Fiatoa

If you don't know, there is a virus going around and some people get sick, some people feel nothing, and some people's lives are changed. My union brother and one of my best friends contracted the virus at work and got sick like many people. Due to b.s. politics and irresponsible business practices and policies, he is one of the few who contracted covid at work and will not compensated for his ailments. That by itself sucks but the real problem is that he didn't just get sick he got really sick. During treatment he tore a hole in his lung and now he has no specific timeline when he can return to work. As the the sole bread winner for his beautiful family of a wife and 4 growing boys, he is at a loss to provide while being confined to a hospital bed, facing mounding medical bills, and having no return date in sight to our physically demanding construction work. As a man I know its hard to ask for help, which is why I'm asking for him. Please donate anything you can and if you can't donate please pass it forward.
