The Latvian Men's National Lacrosse Team has qualified for the World Lacrosse Men's World Championship, after finishing with a 4-1 record in The European Lacrosse Federation qualifier tournament in Poland, in April of 2022.
The 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s World Championship will feature 30 teams and more than 100 games at San Diego State University and the University of San Diego from June 21 to July 1, 2023. Hosted by the San Diego 2023 Organizing Committee with support from World Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse, the tournament will showcase the top men’s teams in the world as the sport vies for inclusion in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to lessen the financial burden facing our team on the road to San Diego. While we will receive a partial grant from the government and the Latvian Lacrosse Federation, the amount covers only a portion of the total cost to travel and compete in The World Lacrosse Men's Championship.
Please help us offset these costs and ease the large financial responsibility that is put on each individual player. Your generous donation will help our National Team members pay for:
- Field Rentals for Practices and Camps
- Travel Costs
- Lodging and Meals at World Championships
- Tournament participation fee
- Training and medical supplies
- Necessary equipment and uniforms
