I’m Tam and this is my dog Latte. On Thursday, October 28, my 5 month old puppy ran out of our home and got side swept by a car. I immediately took her to the emergency room where she received x-rays and proper treatment. She is currently in critical condition and is suffering from a fracture that can inhibit her growth and movement. Her veterinarian informed me she needs surgery that will cost about $8k. Because she is still very young, her growth plates are still in and the surgery would make sure her fracture is corrected and growth on her right back leg continues. Without the surgery, she will not be able to walk or run evenly. Latte is so full of light love and energy, being only a 5 month old puppy she still has a long life to look forward to and it devastates me to think about how her livelihood will never be the same if she doesn’t get this surgery by Sat/Sunday.
