Building School Latrines in Far North, Cameroon

Soukougo is a village located in rural Far North, Cameroon. The primary school has 370 children, 1st to 6th grade. The school does not have latrines, making education difficult, particularly for girls as parents take them out of school when they reach puberty. Currently, the children use bushes behind the school, which is neither private nor sanitary. Malam's Hope in Action is raising money to build two latrines that can be emptied when full. We plan to build the latrines during Summer 2023. Thank you for your support!
