Hi, I’m Rodney Mcleod and I’m fundraising for LaToya. She attends SeaCoast Church Summerville since 2012 where I attend and she posted a message on our church facebook group looking for a ride to church for her children.

She shared with us the reason for needing a ride.

Request: I’m searching for a ride so at least my older kids can come to church My 9 yo wants to get baptized soon so it’s imperative that they don’t miss out. We live in Knightsville.

I’m reaching out because I have a great need.

Backstory: I’m LaToya, and some of you may recognize me since my kiddos and I have been at Seacoast since 2012. Last week the transmission went out on my van. I have called multiple places and have a quote of a minimum $4,000 repair. Sadly, I lost my job in May and have the worst time finding childcare so I’ve been doing Instacart to cover as many bills as possible. I have 5 kids and I desperately need my van, but realistically I don’t have the funds to fix it and I’m still making payments.

my landlord delivered my balance sheet for my rent and they aren’t going to allow any additional time for me to pay what I owe. So now we’re at no job, no car, and I have to pay my balance in full.

We are assisting with contacting support agencies; however she has a great need now. Would consider helping out this single mom take care of her children.
