My name is Latorshia Jenkins. In May 2025, I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Since then I have been receiving weekly chemotherapy. The treatments have been physically and financially overwhelming, and they’ve put a real strain on my ability to work and to provide for myself and my family.
I’ve continued to work as much as possible, but over the past few months, I’ve fallen behind on bills. I’m currently behind on my rent and facing the threat of eviction.
