Latin Berry Family Relief Fund

Donation protected
On August 28, 2020 category 4 Hurricane (Hurricane Laura) touched down in Louisiana and friends Latin Berry and his wife Rosalind Gasaway Berry lost their home of 20 years.

This loss came in the midst of dealing with the effects of COVID-19 as well as Rosalind having back surgery on June 30th for injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident and she has since had a subsequent neck surgery on September 2, 2020.

There is extensive damage in the area, electricity outages, price gouging, and lack of access. They are currently living with friends but are starting over.

Latin and Rosalind are in need of immediate funds for basic necessities, help during Rosalind's recovery as well as a head start to finding/building a new home.

If you know Latin and Rosalind, you know they are in great spirits and have faith and courage they will come back even stronger from this situation.

Latin is a beloved member of the University of Oregon family and this fund is being set up by fellow UO Alumni and teammates to provide relief during this time.

I am a college friend (residing in the Portland Metro Area) and President of the UO Black Alumni Network. Latin and Rosalind are grateful for your heart and willingness to help.
