Our hearts are broken as we share the devastating news that Humaira, a young mother living in our basement, has suddenly lost her husband, Waqas Ayaz, in an unfortunate workplace accident at approx 4pm on June 17.

She is currently pregnant with their third child (expecting her baby in August), already raising their two young sons, Miqdad (3 years) and Musa (18 months), and now faces this unimaginable tragedy alone. Her husband, Waqas, was the sole provider for their family. She is not working and was relying on his income to support their growing family. With funeral expenses, ongoing bills, groceries, and caring for two small children, she is in desperate need of immediate financial help during this overwhelming time.

• Rent and utilities

• Groceries and daily living expenses

• Support for her two young sons, Miqdad and Musa and their future sibling In’Sha’Allah

This family has been part of our household for over 2.5 years, and we are doing everything we can to support her, but we are asking for help from the community.
