Late Stage launches our EP, "Lately" - help support us!

Late Stage is a modern Scottish folk project by Anna Kintner & guests, chronicling and lamenting the dystopia of 2025 onwards. Our first single, Love Songs, is here: https://youtu.be/RdpMy7UH9GQ, featuring Anna on vocals + fiddle and Josiah Duhlstine on cello. Love Songs captures the dissonance of daily life while politics, economy, and climate melt down around us, juxtaposed with the human urge to take comfort in one another.

"Lately" will be our debut EP, featuring original songs for today's mess, with inspiration from the socialist folk revival of the 1970s. Anna draws stylistic approach from artists like Dick Gaughan, Steeleye Span, Sarah Jarosz, Liz Phair, John Doyle, and The Gruff, with lyrics and strings arrangements giving a poetic soundscape for the unease, worry, overwhelm, terror, and anger that this world feeds us daily.

This fundraiser aims to help pay talented contributors like Martin Stewart (guitar, vocals), Josiah Duhlstine (cello), and Dan Brown (production + instrumentals).
