Hey all!

My name is Everett Wicks and I’m directing a short film in the summer of 2025 titled “Late.”. The story follows a man sleeping through his alarm and his rush to get to his destination as soon as possible!

I’m a College Film Student and this is my first short film I’m making. Local to Hermiston OR, I’ve been planning this project for the past few months on and off with a group of friends and creatives. We have the film scripted, and storyboarded with an estimated filming timeline of Mid-Late June.

Now, anybody that’s tried making a film can agree that it can get expensive fast. Between the cost of lighting equipment, camera gear, paid artists, and sound/music licensing, it all starts to add up.

So far, this has all been self funded and as college students, we are finding it difficult to reach our goals given our current financial circumstances. This is why we’re asking for your help to assist us in getting there!

We hope to raise $200 to put towards hiring a makeup artist, buying miscellaneous items for the set and to aid with the production, and to rent any remaining equipment we may not have access to.

All donations will be going towards the making of this short film and all public donators will be included in the credits of the film along with receiving a personal thank you from us all.
