You’re walking down River street late one night when you see a neon pink glow behind the historic bricks.

You follow the light to find an audience of people laughing, stumbled upon a late-night comedy club. You’re transported back in time through the audience members, a nostalgic MTV late 90s- 00s look that reminds you of growing up.

You sit amongst these women, all joined in their individual perspectives of womanhood.

The buzz of the neon sign, the laughs of the woman around you, and you feel like you belong.

Late-night talk shows have always been around... but where are the women? Well, women aren’t funny! So to prove that we want to put on a whole show featuring women. To answer the age-old question: can women only talk in the morning?

Ashley Andre - Host

Ashley Andre graduated from SCAD in the spring of 2025 with a Performing Arts degree with a Casting Minor. She is the host and one of the writers on Late Night Buzz! She is the Writer, Director, Producer, and, most recently, stars in Asthma Attack, her own sketch comedy show! She has a background in both improv and stand-up! She is excited to work on the second project in which she is collaborating with Amelia and Sage!

Michael Crocetti - Sidekick

Michael David Crocetti Jr. is an acting major and junior at SCAD. Michael is currently working on the SCAD sitcom along with Late Night Buzz and can’t wait for everyone to see everything! Michael loves his mom very much.

Sage Dirtadian - Executive Producer & Showrunner

Sage is a Senior Film/TV student at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Sage has been involved in Multi Cam Productions since her sophomore year, most recently producing the second episode of Lodged. She loves helping other creatives bring their ideas to life through production. She hopes to work in the Film and TV industry as a producer. Sage is excited to work on this project with Amelia and the talented writers' room, led by Raymie.

Amelia Cate Tankenson - Executive Producer & Showrunner

Amelia is a Senior at the Savannah College of Art and Design, getting her BFA in Film and Television with a double minor in Producing for Film and Media and Acting for the Camera. She specializes in Directing, Producing, and Acting. She is passionate about exploring new ideas and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the world of filmmaking. Her current work involves a great team of individuals who focus on bringing diversity and equity to the current film landscape.

Raymie Hendry - Head Writer

Ray is a Film and TV junior at SCAD with a passion for comedy writing and producing. They’ve served as a staff writer for SCAD’s multi-cam sitcom, LODGED. They also work as the Head of Student Films for the SCAD Casting Office and as 2025’s Entertainment Casting Intern at NBCUniversal. On the side, Ray is the president of the #instafamous After Dark Sketch Comedy, and the editor-in-chief of the upcoming comedy magazine, B-Plot. You can find them anywhere that sells a mid-range chai latte, or at an LA open mic when they have a night off.

A majority of donations will go towards building our set! The next largest segments are feeding our hard-working cast and crew, lodging/travel for guests, and costuming, all of which will help bring our vision to life.

We are currently in the pre-production phase, assembling the crew, fundraising, and developing the production design. The live studio audience shows will take place in late January 2026. Post-production will begin immediately after filming ends, and all work on the film is expected to be completed by Spring 2026.

December 2025 - January 2026: Table reading, rehearsal, makeup and costume tests, shooting test…

January 2026: Live studio audience shows.

February 2026 - March 2026: Rough cut, final cut…

April 2026 - May 2026: Sound mixing, color grading…
